Welcome!

My name is Jess, and I earned a PhD from the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. The imminent threats to biodiversity and environmental health has compelled me to dedicate my professional life to conservation. With the guidance of Drs Dan Simberloff and Gary McCracken, I studied the threat of invasive species on bats, prioritized bats for research effort, and predicted extinction risk in bats.

I am currently seeking jobs in science policy or conservation project management.
